What the appointment includes
An Annual Semi-Permanent Makeup Session begins with an assessment of existing pigment and skin response since your last treatment. Your artist evaluates fading, color shift, and the healed shape, then designs a customized reapplication plan. The focus is on adjusting pigment placement and tone to restore the look you previously achieved without assuming the original procedure details.
During the session we reapply and adjust pigment as needed to refresh brows, lips, or liner while consulting you about shape and color. Appointments are scheduled to allow sufficient time for mapping, client feedback, and careful application; timing varies depending on service and is listed as 120 MINUTES for scheduling purposes.
Factors that shape results
Results depend on how your skin has responded since the original procedure. Individual skin types, natural exfoliation, and the degree of prior pigment saturation influence how much color needs to be refreshed. Because this is a maintenance session for clients who have not received semi-permanent makeup in over a year, artists expect some fading and plan adjustments accordingly.
Local climate and lifestyle in Estero can also affect pigment longevity. Warm, humid, and sunny conditions, plus regular sun exposure or certain skincare routines, may accelerate fading. Your artist will discuss how local factors and your routine could shape the refreshed outcome and recommend timing or touch-up strategies specific to your needs.
Preparing and aftercare basics
Before your appointment bring information about any original procedure, current makeup or photos you want to match, and an updated health or medication list. Arrive with minimal makeup in the treated area and allow time for a consult. Many local clients combine their visit with errands or shopping in the Coconut Point or Estero Ridge corridor because of our convenient South Tamiami Trail location.
Aftercare instructions are provided by your artist and should be followed closely to protect the refreshed pigment. Expect guidance on protecting the area from prolonged sun exposure common in Southwest Florida and on follow-up scheduling. How you care for the area immediately after treatment is a key factor in how the color heals and appears.
